Roopleen Rai, Attorney-at-Law joins MLO Law, LLC as Of-Counsel. After earning a degree in Occupational Therapy, she then went on to pursue a law degree at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, San Diego, California. She has been working over 15 years with children with special needs in the US and UK. Roopleen is tri-lingual, fluent in Hindi, Punjabi and English. Born in India, raised in America, and having resided in the UK, Roopleen enjoys travel and food (especially when combining the two!). She is excited about taking her passion for helping children and families in a different direction and in using her analytical and problem-solving skills to support our clients at MLO Law. When not working, travelling, or eating, Roopleen can be found spending time with family and friends or wandering a bookstore to add to her ever growing pile of to-read material.

Attorney Lum T. Fobi joins MLO Law, LLC as Of-Counsel. Lum graduated from Spelman College in Atlanta and earned a master's degree in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University and a law degree from Boston College Law School in 2012. Her practice history includes estate, corporate, public, trademark and criminal law, and civil litigation. She also served as CEO and General Counsel for her family-owned international medical device company. Lum was born in California, raised in the U.S. and Thailand, and is fluent in English and Thai. She gains professional fulfillment by helping individuals and families plan to care for their loved ones and is thrilled to be doing so with MLO Law. While not working, Lum enjoys live music, experiencing different cultures and food, and spending time with her 4-year-old daughter.

Usha Kesavan is a Marketing Communications professional whose working experience spans from Higher Education, Financial & Banking, and Consulting.

She joined MLO Law in 2018 after relocating to St. Louis from Sydney, Australia. She has a degree in Business Administration and a Master’s in Corporate Communications. She is a passionate communicator. Her skills include creative writing, digital marketing and event management.

Born (and having lived half her life) in Malaysia makes her a foodie which is why she loves to travel. She also enjoys reading a good book when her two kids are in bed!

Jamie Stafos was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. She graduated from St. Louis Community College with an associate degree in legal studies in the spring of 2014. Jamie joined MLO Law in the fall of 2015 as the office manager, and estate planning and elder law paralegal. In her off time, she enjoys reading, walking her dogs, going to the movies with her son and spending quality time with her family.


Amber Stafos joined MLO Law in spring of 2021 and is the office assistant. Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, she enjoys local activities with friends and family. Amber is a huge anime fan and even attends the conventions when she can. In her free time, she likes to dabble in crafty arts. Amber likes learning new skills and is a fast learner. Welcome Amber!

Jack is a St. Louis native, but he has also resided in Oregon, Ohio, and the UK. He joined the MLO Law team in October of 2020. He graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2018 and is in his final year of Law School at SLU. When he’s not working or preparing for classes, he enjoys music. Jack is a multi-instrumentalist, playing banjo, guitar, drums, percussion, and vocals. One of his favorite passion projects is a log cabin he is restoring; the oldest parts of the structure predate the state of Missouri. The building was in a state of disrepair, having been abandoned for approximately forty years; it has come a long way but there is still much to be done. He also enjoys literature and Greek philosophy.
